Arcadia, CA—The community is gearing up for the annual Take a Bite Out of Cancer fundraiser, set to take place on October 4, 2025, at the Arcadia Community Center, located at 365 Campus Drive.
This cherished event aims to provide support for families navigating the challenging path of pediatric cancer.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., inviting attendees to indulge in a diverse selection of culinary offerings from various local vendors.
The evening promises a blend of live and silent auctions, complimentary wine and beer, and a lineup of engaging entertainment.
Highlighting the event is featured speaker Priscilla Zaragoza, mother of 4-year-old Micah Zaragoza, who will share her family's journey and the impact of community support during their battle with pediatric cancer.
Adding to the night's entertainment, renowned comedienne and live auctioneer Amy Ashton will take the stage.
Known for her appearances on HBO, Netflix, and Comedy Central, and as a writer for the late Joan Rivers, Ashton brings a unique blend of humor and heartfelt engagement to the event.
Her performances have captivated audiences worldwide, including corporate giants like Google and Facebook.
Complementing the lineup is magician and mentalist Nader Hanna, whose mind-bending show has been featured at venues such as the Magic Castle and NBC Universal.
Hanna's performances offer an exhilarating journey into the impossible, leaving audiences both amazed and inspired.
Attendees can also enjoy the Fun Photobooth, providing customized photo art, instant digital sharing, and a variety of props to capture memorable moments from the evening.
Tickets are available at a discounted rate of $80 if purchased before September 21.
After this date, tickets will be priced at $90.
For those looking to enhance their experience, a reserved table for ten with an open bar is available for $1,500.
The event is organized by the Monrovia-based nonprofit Here to Serve, dedicated to supporting families facing pediatric cancer.
